The development of Qred Bank
Like many of our customers, Qred has experienced significant growth. What started as an ambitious idea has now grown into a bank with activities in 7 European countries.
2026
Qred appears on the FT1000 list for the sixth time. Furthermore, Qred Bank has now reached over 70,000 supported businesses, which create 20 jobs every day – day in, day out.
2023-2025
Qred officially becomes a bank with the approval of our banking license. We launch business loans in Germany and start offering savings accounts for consumers in the German and Swedish markets.
2021-2022
We launch Qred VISA: our credit card, which helps entrepreneurs in Finland and Sweden with their daily financial needs. During this period, we also expand into Norway.
2019-2020
Qred is taking its first steps outside Europe by starting a joint venture in Brazil. At the same time, we are continuing our European growth and launching our services in Belgium.
2017-2018
Our expansion continues with Denmark, where we bring a breath of fresh air to the world of business finance. Not long after, the Netherlands follows, where we will also help entrepreneurs with business loans.
2023—2024
It all began in Stockholm with one grand mission: to offer small businesses a banking experience that truly works. The next step is expansion into Finland with the opening of a new office in Helsinki.

Qred holds a banking license and is supervised by Finansinspektionen. This means Qred adheres to the exact same laws and regulations as other banks, while maintaining the speed and simplicity of our fintech background.

Qred is a bank that focuses on small and medium-sized enterprises. Therefore, business loans have always been at the core of our operations.
Qred then realized there was a need for a business credit card for smaller, everyday expenses. That's why we introduced Qred VISA in several of our European markets.
For individuals, Qred Bank offers savings accounts in Sweden and Germany with two different options: flexible and fixed.
